Community Partnerships Team

What is the Community Partnerships Team?

The Community Partnerships Team play a significant part in the life of Firth Park Academy, coordinating an extensive range of affordable activities for families in the holidays (October Half Term, February Half Term, Easter and Summer School). These activities are run in school and are chargeable between £5-7.50 per day. We also run family trips linked with these holiday sessions. Unfortunately due to the current restrictions there are no activities/trips planned for the foreseeable future, but we hope to get them up and running as soon as restrictions are lifted.

We are also involved in the Christmas Show which is a joint venture with our 4 feeder primary schools: Beck Primary, Hatfield Academy, Hartley Brook Academy and Hucklow Primary.

The team is also heavily involved with the transition of Y6’s coming to our school, liaising with primary schools and parents.

Sheffield Children’s University: Melissa is the school co-ordinator for SCU and compiles club registers which are then sent off and logged for the students to gain their next level of awards. For every hour of extra-curricular activity you get 1 credit. If you need to find out what level/how many credits your son/daughter has please get in touch with Melissa.
